I remember coming to our parents place for a family dinner and learning the news about Georges Floyd and the racist murders and atrocities in US. I was shocked. The next two days, i needed to spend time alone at my place. Injustice. What a dreadful feeling. Coming from a very spiritual family, I spent time sending compassion and love thoughts to this man. The idea of a fire bornt from a flame dying came to my mind. This song is a breath we take before the storm. It’s a song about compassion and love. It’s a song about new beginnings through pain and sorrow.
